The COVID-19 pandemic has created the largest disruption of education systems in history, affecting nearly 1.6 billion learners in more than 190 countries.

The crisis is exacerbating pre-existing education disparities by reducing the opportunities
for many of the most vulnerable children, youth, and adults. Without an education, girls and young women are particularly at risk and may not have access to school due to the pandemic’s economic impact alone. Whilst the focus remains on academics, the creative education must not be left behind.

Creativity has become the literacy of our time. It offers a complementary path to share, shape and shift the ongoing conversations about our common futures in a world of pandemics and climate change.

Now is the time to create a fully funded, sustainable platform with free access to actively engage the world’s creative talents. Their stories as well as their ambitions, hopes and dreams for the world, hold the perspectives needed to successfully navigate the new realities we face. By bringing scientists, artists, investors, technologists and other talents together in this way, we stand the best chance to face our common future.
